TLC Vision needed a global website that would serve over 70 centre sites across North America. The site also had to be flexible so that individual centres could communicate and meet the specific needs of consumers in various geographical regions. |
This comprehensive project involved the TLC Headquarters and over 70 centres across the United States and Canada. Innovasium used their ForeFront content management system enabling each centre to personalize their own site with testimonials, doctor profiles, up-coming events and content. The templates on the ForeFront console ensure that the overall brand, look and messaging remains similar to all the other centres in North America. The interactive website allows potential patients to search and locate a centre in their area and to book an appointment online. The online scheduler provides dates and times that are available for an appointment. Patients answer a screening questionnaire and provide their contact information prior to confirming their appointment. Upon completion, an appointment confirmation is automatically generated and sent to the patients’ email address as a reminder. |
TLC reports that staff and nurses from all 70 centres have easily earned how to use the ForeFront console successfully. Head office is pleased that, even when centres change the content, the integrity of the TLC Vision brand is maintained. The appointment scheduler has reduced the number of phone calls received as online bookings increase. And the centre locator allows patients to find centres that are the most conveniently located. |
